Internet Specifications and Resources
I was going to keep a list of specifications for internet technologies, and decided I would just point you to the ultimate source.
The world wide web consortium (W3C) has all the specifications you will need. You can catch up on the latest technologies and the status of the proposals. This is a good place to find out what the up and coming technologies are.
